Fall 2020 Conference - Save the Date!

November 12th and 13th


As a continuation of spring, this fall's theme is "Share the Vision." This theme examines ways technology enables research and innovation, connects our infrastructure and architecture, provides opportunities for us to learn, grow and collaborate, and focuses on current services, projects, and promising opportunities.

We want to invite all IT Professionals to submit a proposal for an online presentation. We are also accepting online-compatible workshop proposals this fall. Partner with friends and colleagues at #ITPF2020 and continue to Share the Vision through one of these tracks:

    Leadership and goals | Personal and professional development | Research and Innovation
  • Sharing: Everyone's Welcome
    Teaching and Training | Campus Partnerships | Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion | Accessibility and Usability
  • In Focus: Here and Now
    Current services and projects | Campus infrastructure and locations | Shared standards and practices
  • Cloudy with a Chance of Terraforming
    AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud | Automation | Containers
  • Free-Floating

Proposals must be must be completed and submitted electronically through the online form to have your topic considered for the conference. The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. CST on Friday, September 25, 2020. You will receive a notification of your proposal acceptance within two weeks of the deadline.


We recognize this is a critical time for IT and the health and safety of our University community is our priority. In light of the continuing global COVID-19 pandemic and in accordance with the University of Illinois System and public health recommendation the in-person Urbana campus IT Professionals Forum will not be held at the I Hotel and Conference Center.
